Marie is a graduate of Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, and the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas. She recently left private practice to become legal Counsel for Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation at a Fortune 500 corporation. Marie currently serves as President of the Central Virginia Employee Benefits Council and is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Society for Human Resource Management. For the past several years, Marie has been selected by Virginia Business Magazine as one of Virginia's "Legal Elite."
